Security and cleaning from one contractor since 1998
The areas we cover take in every town and city in the UK and Ireland, for security and commercial cleaning alike. We cover towns and cities right across England. Ten have their own security page, so you can check your district before you call.
Sites across London and southern England
In London, we cover sites in all 32 boroughs, from Barking and Dagenham in the east to Westminster in the centre. Our Bristol cover runs from Clifton and Redland to Filton, Kingswood and Bedminster. Portsmouth sites reach from Southsea and Old Portsmouth up to Cosham, Port Solent and Farlington. In Southampton, we work across Bitterne, Woolston, Shirley, Portswood and Lordshill.
Sites across the Midlands
Our Birmingham cover reaches out to Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton and Coventry. In Nottingham, we work across Beeston, West Bridgford, Arnold and Hucknall, and out to Long Eaton.
Sites across northern England
The Manchester page covers the city centre, Salford, Bolton, Stockport and Trafford. Liverpool sites run from the city centre to the Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley and Halton. In Sheffield, we cover Hillsborough, Ecclesfield and Stocksbridge, and out to Rotherham. Our Newcastle cover takes in Jesmond and Gosforth, the coast at Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, and Hexham.
One SIA licence covers Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) licenses security officers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. So an officer with an SIA licence can work on your site in any of the four nations.
Its Approved Contractor Scheme (opens in a new tab) (ACS) checks the company as well as the officer. The scheme is voluntary, so every approved firm has chosen to be assessed. One condition is that staff are screened to BS 7858, the British Standard for vetting people who work in secure settings. We hold ACS approval for security guarding and door supervision, which means one standard of vetting on every UK site you run.
In Glasgow, we cover the city centre, Renfrewshire, East and West Dunbartonshire, and North and South Lanarkshire. Edinburgh cover runs from South Queensferry and Cramond out to Linlithgow, Peebles and North Berwick. Cardiff sites reach Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd and Newport. In Belfast, we cover all five parts of the city, plus Lisburn, Newtownabbey and Holywood.
Sites in Ireland run under the Private Security Authority
We cover Dublin and towns across Ireland too, under Irish rules. Private security in the Republic of Ireland is licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA), which is separate from the SIA. Every officer on an Irish site holds a current PSA licence. Our Dublin page covers Dublin 1 to 24, plus Swords, Blanchardstown, Tallaght, Dún Laoghaire and Sandyford.

One 24-hour control centre behind every contract
Every other town and city in the UK and Ireland is covered too, for security and cleaning. National rollouts across many sites can be planned on request. Each site is quoted after a free assessment, just like a site in a city with its own page.
Every site is managed by Double Check Security Group from one head office at Skyline Business Village, London E14. This is where we operate from, and the control centre there is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. So there is always someone to call about any of your sites, and you deal with one team and get regular reports for all of them.
Can the same officers be used regularly? Low staff turnover means familiar, vetted faces on your site, week after week. Clients include Liberty, Ralph Lauren, The Ned and Wandsworth Council.

Can security guarding be combined with other services?
Yes. Security, cleaning and facilities management can run under one contract at sites across the UK.

Martyn's Law will reach your sites in spring 2027
Martyn's Law, the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, will apply to qualifying premises in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The government expects it to start in spring 2027, with the SIA as its regulator (opens in a new tab). Premises expecting 200 to 799 people at once fall in the standard tier, and those expecting 800 or more fall in the enhanced tier.
